a situation here…
I have one more exam to pass until I’m done with this dreadful exam. Bad news is that the last section that I have to tackle is the Goliath of the four (a.k.a the FAR).
I submitted the repeat application online last Tuesday and then mailed the signed form along with the $50 application fee the day after (Wednesday the 5th). I’m assuming the mail arrived in Sacramento either Friday or Monday.
Anyway, I’ve been checking my bank account everyday since, yet I still do not see that the $50 has not been cashed by the Board. It has been exactly 1 week since I mailed my check, and I hear people say that a typical REPEAT application takes some time between 5 – 7 business days.
Here’s the sticky situation – January 31, 2011 is the last day that I can take the FAR before my AUD score expires. I got 76 on the Audit (aka a miracle) and seeing it expire and having to retake it is the last thing I want to happen to me.
So here are my Q’s:
1) I have little less than three weeks before the time runs out. How probable is it for my application to be processed in time?
2) Do you think contacting the CBA to ask them to rush my application is a complete total waste of time?
3) If I want to call them about this issue, which number should I call? They have so many different numbers, I’m a bit confused. They have number for the Board, different number for Exam Center, and again different number for Application. Which is the appropriate number to call?
Thank you so much in advance! I’m a bit worried 🙁
