    Hi Everyone,

I am planning to purchase the Yaeger CPA review material and at the same time, I am going to send my school transcript + CPA exam candidate application to California but I am not sure if I am qualified to sit for the CPA exam even if I think I would qualify to sit for the exam.

If you were me, would you purchase a CPA review material FIRST?

(note: I want to use this waiting time for the eligibility notice from California to study for FAR exam first)

Thanks so much for your input!

I would wait…and I would enjoy life while you wait … Study when you get the green light.

I am also in California in the same situation that you were in. I went ahead and talked to my school adviser and he confirmed that I was eligible to sit the for the exam. I pretty much ordered the Yaeger material and sent in the application and transcripts at the same time.

It is not that difficult to go to the CBA website, look at the requirements to sit for the exam, and make the determination of whether or not you qualify. If you think you qualify, start studying right away. Why wait?
