Has anyone else received a similar email from Prometrics? They can’t provide me with specifics as to which exam, etc they are charging this for? I think that I am going to dispute it unless they can provide the facts.
Dear Prometric Candidate,
This message is to advise you that in going through the year-end reconciliation of our accounts, we discovered that your account was inadvertently never charged the cancelation fee for the (CPA) exam that was canceled per your request earlier this year.
Please take this message as notification that the account used at the time you originally registered for your exam will be debited the appropriate cancelation fees on December 17, 2009 in the amount of ($35).
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay in the processing of this charge and hope that this notification gives you ample time to make any necessary financial adjustments. If you have any questions with regard to this message, please feel free to contact us by responding to this email. All email inquiries will receive a response within 1 business day of receipt. You can also reach us by calling 1-800-853-6769. Please press option 2 (test taker) then option 3 (for all other callers) and finally option 1 (Cancelation Fees).
