I encountered a slight problem yesterday at the test center in that my finger prints would not read. I was able to log in initially but for going out and back in for my break, I had to try multiple times and finally after three attempts each time, my guy just said “oh that’s ok”. He said it wasnt working. I asked him if it really mattered and he said no. If thats the case why do it at all? Should I be worried? Anyone ever encounter similar?

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

I wouldn't worry too much. At my REG exam in November my right hand fingerprints were OK, but my left hand would not take, despite many many tries…the following week at FAR none of my fingerprints were taking. When I took BEC last week (same testing center, same staff) I fingerprinted OK. My take is that the fingerprint software is super sensitive and detects differences between the same fingerprint (remember you have to print one finger three times) when there aren't any. It's just one of several levels of ID they use to make sure you are who you say you are.

    REG – 90

    FAR – 86

    BEC – 1/16/13

    AUD – ???

It's fine. When I took FAR in November the fingerprint scanner was broken. They had me do a real ink fingerprint on my check-in sheet, but that was it otherwise. Not much you can do when the machine isn't working.

I once had my fingerprint bring up someone else's information. I did some research when I got home and found out that they are using a 2 point match system, which isn't anywhere near enough to accurately identify someone. Try not to stress about it. I would suggest you contact your state board in a few days just to make sure your exam was submitted. I made sure there was an exam with my name, SS#, NTS#, Candidate#, and that the exam was the right exam. They were kind of short at first but I made sure to tell them that getting a score early was not the purpose of my call. They were very nice after that. It all turned out fine for me.
