My favorite part of Becker FAR review so far has been the progress tests. As many of my posts on here already indicate, I am very frustrated when going through the homework because more often than not my scores are less than desirable.
Then I get to the progress tests…suddenly I’m scoring in the high 80’s/90’s range. I’m not naive enough to think that my ability is improving and I understand that the progress tests contain much less material than the homework.
This brings me to my question–do the progress tests approximate the weight each area will have on the exam? I noticed there are more questions on fixed assets, for example, than there are on bonds. OR should I just be thankful for the (however small) confidence boost these progress tests give me and not look into them as an indication of how I’m actually doing?
