I was wondering how likely it is that we will receive our FAR scores from NASBA before the end of next week. I was never anticipating on getting my grade this week but I will be severely dissapointed if I don’t get it next week! Thanks for the responses in advance.

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93
    BEC - 11/21/10 - 82

I think next week should be pretty safe.

Last window AICPA released FAR on Monday and REG on Tuesday.

I'd say that by Wednesday the latest AICPA should be done and NASBA by Thursday night/Friday morning?

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

I take AUD Thurs evening so Thursday night sounds good to me! At least I won't be faced with the decision of whether or not to check my score before my exam.

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93
    BEC - 11/21/10 - 82

I'm hoping for Monday. I already have that nervous feeling in my stomach right now

I'm with you on that. I've already mentally prepared myself for a failing score so I will not be disappointed if I end up seeing one. However, a passing grade will be a pleasant surprise! I'm fully aware of 15 mc questions I got wrong on FAR and I probably only got about 1/2 the credit for the simulations so I think it's pretty much impossible to pass. However, I'm fairly confident that I got the other 75 mc questions and the written communication right so who knows. I guess anything is possible, just not probable.

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93
    BEC - 11/21/10 - 82

I felt like I passed in January because I knew the mcq but got a 69. I felt like my exam was about the same difficulty in July – probably all medium testlets again. Not expecting to pass.

Reading past posts on this exam makes me certain of only 1 thing: That it is impossible to be certain what your score will be.

Financeguy you are completely correct and I share that sentiment. I recall reading one post of someone who guessed on about half of their second and third testlets and didn't finish 1 sim and still managed to pass. I could be wrong, but the way I see it is that if one were to receive a hard testlet, they have to get less questions correct in that testlet in order to prove their proficiency as opposed to a medium testlet. I'm just hoping that I got enough right to meet the necessary threshold! You've made considerable progress in your journey thus far and I hope this is another notch on your belt as well as the rest of the candidates out there waiting for scores. I'm taking AUD on Thurs and have been finding it incredible difficult to study lately! 9 straight weeks of studying between FAR and AUD is starting to take its toll!

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93
    BEC - 11/21/10 - 82

I found AUD a lot easier to study though than FAR at least.

    FAR 92 - AUD 91 - REG 94 - BEC 86

Ya, however sick this may sound, I actually liked studying for FAR more because I was actively engaged in the subject matter as far as applying the concepts learned to quantitative scenarios. I find AUD a lot more laid back where you just have to memorize rules, however intuitive some of them may be.

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93
    BEC - 11/21/10 - 82

See, I didn't really feel as if I had too memorize much at all for AUD. I learned the concepts, and then I could use logic and the concepts to figure out most questions. With FAR I felt there was a ton of rules to memorize. Good luck with AUD! I know it is very hard to study right now!

Ya, a lot of it is definitely easy to follow through with once you master the concepts. There's just a lot of little minutiae, especially when it comes to the Reports. Thanks for the wishes and Best of luck on REG!

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93

Read this on another forum, thought I should share:

NASBA, aka Not Allowing Scores to Be Available

You know you've crossed some invisible line when you find that genuinely funny.

    FAR: 8/5/2010 - 89
    AUD: 8/24/2010 - 92
    REG: 10/11/2010 - 94!!
    BEC: 11/30/2010

Haha, I saw someone post that on the NASBA Facebook page earlier today.

    FAR - 8/4 - 93
    AUD - 8/26/10 - 97
    REG - 10/3/10 - 93
    BEC - 11/21/10 - 82

Actually NASBA is in the position that the candidates are in: hurry up and wait until the AICPA releases them.
