I’ve watched all the lectures. I’ve read all the chapters. I’m now going back and teaching myself the chapters. As I go through the MCQ’s, I notice it’s usually 75% mathmatical for any section that can possible have math. I know there is NO WAY it can be like that on the exam or no one would come close to passing.

For those who have taken the exam, about what % is mathmatical? Does Becker hurt you b/c it makes you concentrate so much on the math and so little on the details of the rules?

I know what you're talking about because it would sometimes take me 3 or 4 hours to get through a set of calculation intensive questions (reviewing answers and researching included). Becker does a good job preparing you as you will definitely see some numbers on your exam. It's not all that many though, maybe 1 out of every 4 questions or so. It can depend on your test as well, though, since all exams are different.

A lot of people say they are pressed for time when taking FAR, but I must say I didn't feel this way. I'm not a very fast test taker, and I felt like I was taking my time during the test. It felt like plenty of time to me, given I did not take any breaks at all. I think I finished with about two minutes left and felt that I had time to do everything I needed to do. I had to guess a lot so do not be alarmed if you have to guess on several questions. Also, I was certain I failed and did not so don't count yourself out based on how you feel.

    AUD - 74, 87; BEC - 84; FAR - 78; REG - 79
    It's done, Son!
