Ok…Here’s my situation, which I bet a lot of you are in. I used Becker’s FAR self-study material / Wiley’s test bank and took the exam on May 31. IF I receive my result on Friday and fail, what is the next best step? I personally plan on using CPAexcel as a supplement because it seems that they provide more detail and an additional point of view.

Hypothetically, if you fail, what are you doing differently next test window?

I'm gonna try not to get sick a week before my exam. Probably get myself one of those suits used by pest control dudes. :'(…

One thing I'm noticing using 2011 Reg Becker materials in combo with CPAexcel is that Becker's video lecture for me is head and shoulders above CPAexcel (My personal opinion) I like to be guided through the material in the book.

CPAexcel has a different format and i think more detail without the hand holding like Becker.

My plan is to use Becker video lecture for as much material as i can that hasn't been changed from 2011 and complete Becker's program. THEN, i will supplement weak areas with CPAexcel and use their testbank for extra practice.

Definitely is overkill but I need to pass.

    AUD Pass
    REG Fail, Rematch TBA
    FAR 11/26 Certain I failed
    BEC ?

    Becker

I am actually in the same exact boat as you. FAR is my last exam and I took it on the 30th. if I fail, I am planning to start back my studies on 06/25, that will give me a couple of weeks to clear my head and I am planning to go to LA the week of 18th. I want to try to do 2 chapters a week in Becker (reading, lectures, note taking, & MCQs) during lunch reading the Ninja Notes. Once I am done with lectures which will put me at the end of July, I am going to start MCQS like a mad man, Ninja Notes, Wiley TB, Flash cards and do all this over and over again until I am at the verge of puking. LOL. Oh my ride to and from work listening to Ninka Audio. I would probably schedule the exam for the end of August.

But I am hoping I get a 75 and I can just delete everything I just wrote out of my mind. LORD PLEASE PLEASE!!!

    BEC-Passed
    AUD-Passed
    REG-Passed
    FAR-Passed (I AM DONE!!! THANK U LORD!!!!)

Your preemptive plan should be to bomb the Prometric testing center and the state board you are sitting in from.

Depends how much you fail by, if you are btw 65 & 74, no need to add a new review system, work on weak areas, do more mcq's and the next time you will get through. If you score really bad then may be yes to a new course.
