I need some serious motivation/confidence to keep going. I’m retaking FAR 5/28 and need to knock out the final chapters of Becker before moving into MCQ and SIMS cram-mode.

Planning on watching Becker Final Review lectures (30 min each, 5 to go), then re-writing Becker notes and reading Ninja notes and making flashcards (time permitting)…

We can all do this!!! Good luck to everyone out there wasting their weekend indoors right along with me…

@MCLKT What an awesome mother you have!!!

For mother's day my family is building the fence around where my garden is going and they are going to till it up for me. My exam is this Tuesday, so next weekend my garden will be all ready for me to plant.

I didn't focus very good last night, so took an organic energy supplement (YUCKY tasting) and am going to make it up today!

I'm happy to report that accomplished my task of finishing the Wiley econ module by lunch! We had to run some errands and pick up some goodies for my Mom this afternoon, but now the outside work is done and I can resume studying until I can't see straight! My second goal for today is to knock out the Wiley module on Financial Risk Management and Capital Budgeting before bed. I have four hours on the clock from my early shift and hoping to punch in another four hours now!

Ugh. Hit a major roadblock when I woke up very sick this morning. Wound up being able to read ninja notes, but slept most of the day away. Feeling very upset from the day being wasted. I'm going to try to study into the night now that I'm feeling a bit better. This headache will not stop though.

On a lighter note, I'm glad to see everyone studying like crazy! Still half the weekend open…

@MCLKT – sounds like you have had productive day…even got a run it! Go you..that was my “treat” on power weekends.

@memmy – take some time to feel better. You will be better off if you give yourself the day or weekend to feel better then if you try and study and start getting stuff you know wrong. You can do this!

No kidding, I could barely wake up today, seriously and had overall sluggish day. Too much food does me no good and today for first time I've noticed that my face is semi-swollen I guess after all the salty & spicy stuff. A week before the exam, I have to cut down on the chow in general and watch that goes in so not to be sorry on the day of the exam feeling uncomfortable and out of shape and overall, bummed.

Going back to studying, plan is to put in 4+ hours toward the end of evening.

Oh Seattle!!! I do that too, especially when it comes to BBQ. And I live in Kansas City, so there is so much good BBQ around here, it's amazing.

It's that point in the evening when the brain resembles a melted crayon…which means it must be wine o'clock! 🙂

I made it 75% through the Financial Risk Management and Capital Budgeting Module tonight. I seriously underestimated how much is in that module, but I'm sure the last 25% will be here waiting for me in the morning! 😉 I logged around 8 hours of study time today, yay! Tomorrow morning's task will be to wrap up the module and finish up all associated MCQS in the module, enjoy Mother's day dinner, and then get moving on the financial management module!

Progress report: completed R-2 with all sims and optionals. Tomorrow on R-3 (C & S corps).

Puzzled of why Becker did not provide a single sim practicing child & dependent credit, foreign credit or individual AMT. Come on Becker, do I have to go and search for additional stuff on my own after paying this much?!

Just have a feeling that this crap is going to show up on sim for sure.
