I need some serious motivation/confidence to keep going. I’m retaking FAR 5/28 and need to knock out the final chapters of Becker before moving into MCQ and SIMS cram-mode.

Planning on watching Becker Final Review lectures (30 min each, 5 to go), then re-writing Becker notes and reading Ninja notes and making flashcards (time permitting)…

We can all do this!!! Good luck to everyone out there wasting their weekend indoors right along with me…

How's everybody doing?

Spent so far around 7 hours today on various hit and miss topics in individual taxation and …got slammed with a headache in return, the one that starts on one side of the head and drills down seemingly to the brain until tears come out:(

At any rate, popped two pills, got drink and fired up bbq and right now taking a few hours break before attacking REG beast one more time tonight.

Wish everyone productive time, i will lurk here but due to time difference many of you will be probably snoozing by the time i will call it a night.

I've had a thrilling 3.5 hour date with econ tonight and it's time to cash out! I'm halfway through the econ module and am hoping to finish it off by lunch tomorrow. Getting fired up for Financial Risk Management and Capital Budgeting! 😉

Just wrapping up Becker Audit 4 lecture on expenditure cycles and that was brutal. Going to start early tomorrow and get the MC for 4 done and watch lectures/do MC for A5. Good luck everyone.

Pulling an all nighter may not be a great idea…but I will be able to study with zero distractions because there is nothing to do between 1 am and 7 am. Then sleep tomorrow during the day!

Just finished all the Wiley MCQs & Sims for Individual Taxation and I feel like Wiley for a week is going to have me ready to rock and roll on a week from today! Pumped!!

Check in to keep myself accountable. Just completed Becker MCQs on Ind Taxation.

Taking a break to feed the family and straighten the jungle my house has become. Then on to the Wiley Test Bank for the same section. Hopefully by the end of today I can reasily distinguish between the adjustments and itemized deductions including all the rules. I think I may have to read through AMT again to get that one.

@TripleNetAcct: Do you think Wiley does a god job of explaining AMT?

4 hours in on my Saturday, I've got a couple more hours, then I'm going to go for a run and take lunch.

Then begin the all nighter.

And I have a full day tomorrow, going to take my first full length practice exam 🙂 I'm hoping to score 70'ish. Focus on my weak areas and next week score 75-80.

A71 is awesome, the thread that called me out the other day was so motivational.

My mom has asked if she can keep my daughter for the weekend a Mother's Day gift to me 🙂 She said passing REG will be a great Mother's Day gift from me to her 🙂

I got a random text from my daughter's dad telling me how grateful he is for everything I do. And that he thinks I'm amazing being able to work so hard, take care of our daughter and put in the time and dedication into studying.

A strong support group is so valuable. 🙂

With all of this, I have been pumped to pass REG!
