I saw no one posted a power week for this week so I decided to do it!

I hope I am not alone in this power week. I took REG on Saturday and will begin studying for FAR tonight. I am in Chicago for work today and tomorrow then I fly to Tupelo, MS from Wednesday to next Tuesday. The cute town of Tupelo doesn’t have much to do but I figured that would be perfect for a power week and weekend. I do plan on treating myself to a mani and pedi while I am there 🙂

This being my *cough* fourth *cough* time to take FAR, I am going all out! I am acting like I have never seen this before. I have a game plan worked up which included Becker Lectures, MCQ, Note taking, Ninja note reading and taking and lots of review! I am strongly considering getting a supplemental test back as well. Any thoughts?!?

    WHO IS WITH ME!!??!?!!??

    Hi AKB,

How long do you plan on studying? Have you used the NINJA study planner at all?

I say your energy is great and with several exams already under your belt, you are more than ready. Even though you'll be stuck in a hotel room for a few days, it sounds to me like you're not missing out on much.

I can't tell you how much Jeff's ELL plan has helped prepare me for REG. I take it on Wed. but was considering moving it up to today if I could find a spot (nope).

Clearly what you have done with FAR hasn't worked out in the past, so what kind of plan have you been considering? Will you have enough time to tackle another test bank or do you think you should focus on milking Becker for every penny it's worth?

power week for me also – before girl scout cookie selling next weekend and I'm out in front of stores with the kids.

also almost done with wiley text – only partnership, governmental and not for profit less and that drives me on like a horse headed for the barn at the end of a long trail ride. I look forward to a few weeks of review before a mid April test on FAR, my first ever.

    gulp.

Well I changed my approach for Reg and I think it may have worked so I was going to use it. I do have Jeff's ninja notes and I love them!! They helped me pass BEC for sure!! Possibly Reg too…hope I didn't just jinx myself. I am going to try to stick with just Becker but if I start memorizing answers instead of concepts, I am going to buy another test bank. I am not going to schedule my exam until I find out Reg though. Reason being, if I fail, I will take FAR early enough to tackle REG in May. If I pass then I will make sure I give myself plenty of time to pass but not soo much time that it works against me.

My plan is to do it the NINJA way.

    Nail the video,

    Intense notes (no highlighting),

    Non-stop MCQ,

Just re-write the notes and it

    All comes together

Oh and FAR plan was not working and the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result…I am done being insane 🙂

I'm in as much as I can be. Trying to finish up watching the lectures for BEC this week. So far hasn't been a good start. Craziness at work and a teething toddler who only wants Mommy has been setting me back a bit. Had some lectures planned out to watch last night, starting watching them, then my little one woke up. My hubby went to get her but she only cried worse. When I took her she quieted down. Maybe I need to figure out a way to watch lectures while I'm holding her until this tooth comes in. Going to be a long week!!!

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley

@akb9874 – Yes being pulled in a zillion directions. The one thing that is on the back burner is the housekeeping. My MIL came over last weekend to give us a hand with that.

I'm seriously on autopliot. I don't think about it, I just go with it.
