So I am a day late putting this up and decided to just make it a bit more generic.

I had to work all weekend and late yesterday because of budget season. My boss is driving me insane. I am ready to get promoted which won’t happen until after I tackle this beast. Therefore my motivation for studying this week is focused around getting out of my current role.

I took a my first practice test and made a 74. Not great but better than I would have expected since I haven’t finished some of my least favorite topics. This week I am going to finish my last sections of MCQ then start doing practice tests, quizzes, note taking, note reading and jam out to Ninja Audio. I still haven’t scheduled my test but I am thinking sometime between the 20th and 26th. Repetition is key!

Ugh I hear you there. I have too many personal obligation/trips planned this week and I have my AUD exam coming up on the 5th and I start work on Monday. So basically yesterday, today, and tomorrow are my only real chance to read through ALL of the material once again and tackle sims and progress tests. I am hoping to power through and then at least be able to do the occasional progress test and spot read trouble areas for the 8 days before exam time.

I have my exam in 5 days. I am trying not to hit the panic button but I feel a little overwhelmed. I have gone through the lectures, intense notes, M/C questions, and half the Wiley test bank (and written flash cards). Right now I am going through the Wiley test bank again and reading my flash cards over and over but I feel like quite a few topics are not sticking. 🙁

I hate statement of cash flows…they intimidate me so much and I don't know why, they aren't that hard!

Still pushing til the end….just want this to be done at this point. I feel like I am hating every subject in FAR except inventory/depreciation. Please oh please ask me all those questions. I feel like I could keep studying and studying and never be ready. Siggghhhhh…..

I hates statement of cash flows too. I was lucky enough that I didn't have a sim on that, but I know several people that had cash flow related sims so you never know. Get yourself used to those mcqs. they are tricky bastards, but honestly not too bad.

I'm officially focused and back at it again. Finally finished the 9 sections of FAR from the Becker Review after a long 17 months of making excuses! I'm glad I found this site and will reference back to it when I get off track. So far, day 3 into the Ninja study plan and I've got 12 hours under my belt. I'm just taking it one day at a time. November 26th is my day for FAR….wish me luck!!

Ok, didn't completly bomb the Stmt of CF section but have a lot of work to do. Going to move over to Stockholder Equity and then back to Stmt of CF for a quick review to ensure I am retaining the information. After that, just gotta master Governmental and PV. I hate PV, I just don't get it!!

Did really well on Stockholders Equity which is awesome! Governmental and NFP tonight and then PV tomorrow along with quizzes, review of notes, Ninja audio and then Pratice Test on Sunday! Ready for the weekend!

How did REG studying go?

I am in PV of Bonds and Leases right now which is probably my weakest area, so far it seems I am remembering a lot though. I am taking the night off though because my Boys are playing! Ok study buddies, yall have been way to quiet!! Where are yall? Did you fall off the study wagon or just studying so hard you haven't been poking around on A71?

After dreading from the beginning on going over PV I am actually kicking some serious butt! I remembered so much from last time that I actually made an 85 on the quiz, I think that is my highest score ever on this section! Feeling very motivated!

PS if anyone in Houston has a FAR test scheduled on Oct 20th, please change your date so I can take it that day. Thank you! haha
