Hi, I’m retaking FAR for the second time (and would really like to pass this time around). Thinking of postponing it to either 2-3 weeks from now. Already finished studying all the material & doing questions using Becker.

Planning on getting Ninja MCQs – how long do you guys recommend using Ninja MCQs? Is 2 weeks enough or 3? I’m afraid 3 weeks may be too long and I may start forgetting material. Thanks!

My first attempt for FAR. Using Roger. There's 1,699 mqc for FAR. I work full time. I started studying June 6 for FAR. I was planning on taking the exam August 4-7. Halfway through studying I pushed it back to August 17. When I finished the material I pushed it all the way back to August 28. I definitely know I need the extra (about) two weeks to go over MCQ/review notes/practice a few sims and research.

After finishing material I still had about 500 mcq to complete so I figured a week for that. This week I am finishing all the mcq/read notes/go over some sims/maybe watch a few lectures again. So now I have 3 full weekends to study a lot with 2-3 hours a weekday. I know some days I am going to get a headache or just not want to study much so it was beneficial for me to push it back. It could possibly be my final exam so I want to put forth extra effort. One or two extra weeks won't kill me if I pass, it would be worth it.

I would say 2.5 weeks for review since there is so much material. You want to have time to do a lot of mcq over again and re-write any notes/journal entries. I don't think you will forget material if you are studying everyday.

I took FAR on August 7 and I also used Roger to study. On my exam almost almost all of the MCQ were identical or similar to Roger's Interactive Practice Questions. The DRS and all of the TBS were also similar to the ones that Roger has. The only thing I struggled with was using the spreadsheet to do some of the calculations for the last testlet. I got a little flustered and lost some valuable time and had to rush to finish the last sim. I don't know if I got lucky with the types of sims I had in my exam but Roger's lectures and practice questions really prepared me well.

On average Ninja takes me 40 hours to get through… How much time do you study a day?
