What is everyones thoughts on the idea of taking 2 parts (BEC & FAR) by middle of Nov? I recently did not pass BEC, I got a 67and just paid for the exam again. I also have a nts for FAR that expires in November. So I am thinking about studying for both parts taking BEC in beginning of Oct, then FAR middle of Nov. Thoughts???

It's possible. Depends what else you have on your plate–if you're working full time, it will be a lot more challenging. If the test fee isn't material to you, there's no reason not to try. Just make sure to study sufficiently (whatever that means for you) for at least one.

    FAR 92 1/3/12
    AUD 93 2/2/12
    BEC 89 2/28/12
    REG 86 7/16/12

    Waiting on REG

    Yes and No.

    6 Weeks, 7 Days, 10 Hours per day = 420 hours.

I passed FAR in about a month of studying like this.

Is that how much you're working for your job or how much you're studying?

    @ Cardinal

It was just an example of how much study time you can put away in that amount of time. Although I find it impossible to put in any solid amount of time due to getting distracted by the internet and other B/S

It all depends on your study needs and your strength and weaknesses. I took BEC and AUD less than 3 weeks apart and passed both. But I don't think that I personally could have done that with FAR. It was the toughest for me. I literally spent more hours studying for that than I did all three of the other sections combined. But I also was only finishing up my masters and working part time at the university until May when I had nothing to do but study. The more hours you have dedicated to other responsibilities, the less practical shorter breaks between exams are.

    AUD-April 2012-CPAExcel only-86
    BEC-April 2012-CPAExcel w/ additional practice questions from Becker-91
    REG-May 2012-Becker primarily w/ practice questions from CPAExcel-78
    FAR-July 2012-CPAExcel primarily w/ Becker supplements-81

I'm still unclear whether you're working full-time or not. If not, it's easily doable. I was able to do FAR and BEC 4 weeks. If you are working full-time though, it'll be really challenging.

As I understood from the question (rather than the title) Penguins387 still has 3.5 months to study till mid of November and not 6 weeks. If this is the case, it's definitely doable even if he is working full time.

    REG: 80 (02/02/2012)
    FAR: 91 (02/06/2012)
    AUD: 89 (02/09/2012)
    BEC: 79 (02/12/2012)

    Ethics: 90 (02/11/2012)

Sandra is taking all four in one window and she got an AMAZING score on FAR. If you are dedicated to studying, good at keeping a schedule, smart and not afraid of anything, then yes, it's possible.

Like cardinal said, it all depends on whether you are working full time or not. If not, I assume its doable with any sections. If you are, it might still be doable but only with BEC and AUD.

    FAR - 85 November 2011
    AUD - 81 January 2012
    REG - 68 March 2012
    BEC - 86 April 2012
    REG - 92 July 2012
