Ok, so my practice exam score has improved a tiny bit from November (when I scored in 40s in all the testlets of practice exam 1) but I’m not happy with this. I’m taking my FAR exam in 4 days. Here are my scores for the practice exam 2:

    Testlet 1: 19/30 (63%)

    Testlet 2: 16/30 (53%)

    Testlet 3: 14/30 (47%)

This sums up to a score of 54%, isn’t it?

Do I have a good chance of passing? In the next few days, I’m planning to redo the H.W. questions that I got wrong, take 2 Progressive Tests of 90 MCQs and do the AICPA questions the day before the exam.

If you've read this forum much most people here don't believe in simulated exams. In fact if you scroll down a bit there is a pretty big thread about simulated exams. Jeff says if you have 4 hours to spend it working your trouble areas. Makes sense. Also the exam you just took is graded way differently than the one you just took. So you've got 4 days left to work as many MCQs as possible. Work the ones that are trouble for you. Good luck

Thanks Ajaz. I guess you're right. I'll try not to worry about these scores.

Lily, don't bother trying to analyze the practice exam. Any analysis is just a guess. Just keep studying, work the questions, take lots and lots of notes, write things down in your own words so that you understand them. That is far more helpful than trying to predict if you'll pass the real exam by the practice exam.

If I haven't mastered the MCQs, can I skip the Sims and focus on studying the MCQs? Or would it be enough to skim through the solutions for the Sims?

    I am going to disagree…

I use the Wiley Test Bank and those test bank companies use statistical modeling to try to correlate the scores on their test bank vs scores on actual exams.

I strongly believe that you need to get an 80% plus on the Wiley Test bank on every section for the MCQs when looking at their histogram report of you average score for a section. I just use the study session where you get to see the answers after every question instead of the options where you don't see the answer so I can stop and study immediately if I get something wrong. The test bank scores I was getting were in the low to mid-80s and you can see where my scores ended up in my signature so I am pretty confident in the percentage correct on the test bank vs actual results.

I have a problem with the TBS. While I was doing the Cash Flow Statement, I selected and entered an item from the drop down list that I later felt was not required. So how do I delete that item??? I pressed the “delete” key so many times but that item won't get deleted???!!!
