    Hey guys,

I am kind of desperated because I will take my FAR exam on July 25. I finish my becker material a couple days ago (balancing big 4 work and study) and I am starting to review it. In my view there are a plenty of topics with so much details that I forgot and going through the material (by each topic) it seems for me that I am far away to have everthing dominated.
My strategy now is been reviewing each FAR module and retaking the FAR SIMS. However, basically I’m not working with MCQ.
Do you guys have any advice? Besides reviewing each topic of FAR (it is taking too much time), should I just study now from the SIMS and MCQs?

    Thanks for the help.

I can only tell you what has worked for me thus far. When I am done with my review of the material, I work MCQs and some SIMs. The focus though is on MCQs. I purchase the Ninja test bank, because it's inexpensive and because for some reason I struggle more with the questions in my other test bank (Wiley), so it builds my confidence a bit more. That may not be necessary for you though as long as you haven't exhausted your primary test bank and you feel the explanations are good. Which brings me to: read and understand the explanations when you get a question wrong. If there's an area you have difficulty in, that's when you may want to go back through your book/videos and take some notes. Take at least one practice test. This isn't so much for more practice with questions, but for an overall understanding of how you're doing and more importantly (especially for FAR IMO) is to figure out your timing. What I do the week or so before the test is focus on areas I struggle, going from subtopic to subtopic until I raise my scores in those areas. Then repeat. I copy and paste a progress report from Ninja into a spreadsheet just for this.

Don't worry too much about dominating all areas of FAR. Unless you're going for a 99 and won't settle for less. Before I took FAR, I swore I needed another week to study, but thankfully, it worked out for me. I think most people are going to have a few areas they can't devote enough time to and still struggle, the goal is to make those areas few and in the areas not heavily tested.

    Good luck 🙂
