@ Peanut – I feel you. I got a 74 on my REG exam this morning. A couple hours later, I found out my grandmother passed away. On top of it all, I've been at home sick as a dog since Wednesday. I so wanted some good news this morning. Now, we have to drive home to Louisiana for a funeral. Worst week ever.

We just have to find a way to regroup and finish this stupid exam.

    AUD - 81 (expired), 77!

@Veronica75, I'm so sorry πŸ™ What a terrible week .. My condolences to you and your family. REG is a mega beast. I'm sure you want to take a break from life at the moment. When you're ready for your rematch, let us know, I'm sure you will be able to get a lot of advice from everyone on here. I took REG 3 times, so I know the feeling =/

@Mini, yesterday I got my official start date at EY. It's not until September 5th, so I have the time, not necessarily the money but I can work on that, the only thing I need to work on is the energy! Which I ordered the good morning pill last night, LOL. I'll have to sleep on it. I'll read Becker for the day today just to get back into the swing..

@CPATerminator, <3 you. Why aren't your exam dates up so we can stalk when you're sitting?

@Veronica75- I'm so sorry. I lost both of my grandmothers when I was a teenager and I know how it feels. I also have gotten a 74 before on REG and that is definitely the most painful failing grade to get. I would suggest taking a couple of weeks off because it may be hard to study now due to everything you've been going through. Then later on when you feel better, you can get back on the horse. Again, I'm very sorry to hear about all of this.

@Peanut- I agree 100% with Mini. I only suggested the Cram as a more cost efficient route, but putting all costs aside, buying a Yeager 2012 Homestudy course is the way to go. I believe the AUD course is the shortest with only 19 hours total, so it shouldn't be too overwhelming to watch all the lectures. Gary Bulmash even takes a lot of time to go through a bunch of Sims in the Wiley book and gives tips on how to tackle them. The Yaeger course also comes with a Wiley book and a free Wiley software. So, this is a great package and I think if you start all over like what Mini said, you will kick butt next time.

@Peanut – I'd be willing to kick $100 into the “Let's buy Peanut a full review course fund”. Hope you take me up on it.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Yeah, another week away from the books might be best. I'll be around…

Peanut, have you used the Becker Final Review? I can almost guaranty that it was the difference between a pass or fail for me. FAR was the only section that I didn't pass the first time and it was the only section that I didn't have time to get to the Final Review. When I took it this last window, I didn't have time to completely get through all of the chapters in the main course, but I did spend the last weekend before the exam doing the Final Review and I actually passed with a 76. I really feel that it is a good way to keep everything fresh on the mind when going into the exam. I will gladly give you my copy of the Audit Final Review if you would like.

    AUD - 80
    FAR - 73, 76 done!!!

@sleepy, yes I do have the Becker Final Review. Read that final review book twice πŸ™ I also did well on the Becker simulated final exams. Thank you for the offer πŸ™‚
