    Aw.. 🙁 I really am sorry that you didn't pass. I know how it feels, and there's nothing that can quite match the feeling of failing an exam when you have already failed so many before. It's very disheartening. I wanted to give up so many times. I'm really glad that I didn't though, because now I'm a CPA, and it was all worth it! As it will be for you.

    btw if you want to add me on Facebook, I'm /kandisjoy (big surprise there!)

    @Peanut

    I am with you about opening a Becker book. It took me four times to pass BEC with Becker but each time, I completed the whole course again. The same with AUD-twice. I believe the thing that put me over the top with AUD was the use of my voice recorder. I recorded all of my note cards, all opinions, nemonics, listings, etc. You get the picture. I listened to this stuff until I was ready to puke. I did the same with BEC only took it a step further and recorded all of the final review lectures.

    I am anxiously awaiting my REG score.

    You can do this. You kept going before and you can keep going this time.

    Ugh, Peanut. That stinks. I made a 72 on what I was *hoping* was my last exam too so I know how you feel.

    I would try a different review. Maybe Roger? I think Yankee finally defeated Audit with him. Yeager is good too but I didn't use it for Audit, so I can't really say. Don't do Becker again. Like you said, you already have it memorized. You need fresh material.

    I hate this for you 🙁

    Peanut – Don't watch the Becker lectures again. If anything, read the text book.

    I hate all Yaeger videos except for AUD with Blumash. I felt just hearing it differently gave me a better perspective.

    I also did the Becker Final Review which I found was great to tie it all together.

    Obviously, these options cost more money, but your time is worth something too.

    Good luck.

    hey peanut, why not use wiley textbook+wiley test bank+gleim

    my studing method for AUD is: to combined wiley textbook and becker…..becker is much clear on the report section. wiley is better for the internal control. and i also recommend to use gleim test bank… the question were repeated, but it was useful and helpful. Moreover, practice the sim in wiley testbank.

    hope this will help

    Peanut…

    Not to draw away from the sympathy, but a question for you…

    Roughly what were you scoring on the Wiley M.C. ?'s. I'm asking because AUD is my next test and I tend to just read Roger's text once and then do some MCQ's so I'm curious roughly where you were at to be that close to give myself an idea of what I'm looking at here.

    Peanut, I know you don't want to watch a bunch of videos, but I want to agree with all the people recommending Yaeger. Gary is a great instructor. It's definitely something for you to consider. Good luck with whatever you choose, I'll be rooting for you.

    @CPA Terminator…I used Gleim for both of my attempts at AUD…I've done over 2000 questions each time. So, I am not sure where I went wrong. Maybe I need to do more MCQs and practice SIMS. I need my score report.

    Wiley is your friend, I promise you. And again, I'll be glad to send you my notes (Excel file) if you would like them–my notes are straight from the Wiley book and have explanations added based on CPAExcel.

    You came really close, hang in there.

    Aww, nuts. Sorry, Peanut.

    I see you have gotten a lot of advice, some of it good and some of it not so good. You've been to this rodeo before though so you know what will be best for you. Your cyber family will be there to see you through the finish line.

    @Peanut,

    I thought Roger was great. I had listened to the Becker videos on my first two attempts (68,62) On the third try I used the Roger cram and got a 74. The last swipe I went through the Roger course as well as supplemented with Bisk on the Audit Cycle. I thought Roger was great because he explains all the details. He was an auditor back in the day, so I felt like he imparted little details that tied everything together. You can do it. Doesn't matter how many times, all that matters is passing. Keep going, you will get there.
