Has anyone passed FAR with barely studying? If so how many hours did you put in?

It's possible. I got a 73 and didn't really study much at all. I'm three years out of school and haven't done a single debit or credit since. I got lucky on a few sims that I had locked down.

I don't recommend trying. Unless you have to. My hands were kinda tied at the time- I took AUD the day before and didn't really exercise the best time management leading up to the exams.

Life happens so sometimes it's not possible to study the amount of hours that you wanted to. just wanted to see if it's worth a shot to even go to the testing center or to reschedule for next testing window. Thank you @billbrasskey for your comment.

No problem. That was pretty much where I was.

I figured there was a chance I would pass and I took it. I wasn't losing any time because it was near the end of a testing window and if deferred, I wouldn't have been able to take it again until July.

My advise is TAKE YOUR TIME! I breezed through it and finished with an hour and a half remaining. My only regret is that I didn't slow down and really think about the questions. In hindsight, I'm sure I would have been able to pick up two more points.

It's possible but you will also need some luck! I studied for 3 weeks for FAR while working two jobs! I used becker. I studied less than 120 hrs; did not do any SIMs, did not finish all MCQs (probably only 70% of it – did not answer any optional questions either); did not do any progress test or practice exam. I struggled with the MCQ on the actual exam because they tested me on every possible topic i prayed not to show up. I think the SIM helped me. I ended up passing with 75 – being weaker on MCQ and stronger on SIM. But i definitely would not recommend doing what i did!
