I passed BEC and AUD but now I’m finding it very hard to start studying for FAR. My cirucmstances havent changed except for the fact that it’s the holiday season and the whole family has gathered at my parent’s house. i just cant seem to find the motivation to fire up my laptop every morning and watch Becker videos. Need some serious motivation help guys

Give yourself one (or two or three) specific assignments everyday. Not just “I'm going to study for three hours in the morning”. More like “I am going to do x number of MCQs and listen to the entire <blank> lecture”. Don't allow yourself to join in the festivities until you complete the specific assignments.

This exam ALMOST defeated me back in 2006-2008, but I came back and WON!

Your motivation should be that you're 50% of the way there. Don't stop now and don't put it off because you have “plenty of time.” Use your momentum to your advantage and finish it off. Do you miss your social life and the things you used to do? I sure as hell do. Get it done and get your life back !

I'll chime in and repeat what everyone else has said – you have already passed 2 parts and the clock is ticking! Think of all the other people that have attempted both BEC and AUD and haven't even been able to pass! You're in great shape, keep it going so you don't have to restudy for those down the line!

Nothing says merry christmas like a little bit of Tim Gearty…..
