Do you think it is possible to pass FAR in 4-5 weeks? I just took my audit exam today and I am trying to squeeze in an attempt FAR before my busy season starts. I have Becker and I purchased Ninja Notes and MCQs.

Depends on how much time you can study per week. If you can get in a solid 30 hours I'd say yes, at 20 hours per week the chances aren't as good.

I would also like to know whether people think it's possible. I am working full-time and busy currently and want to take FAR by Dec 9th and last chance to take it would be by January 20th. My first exam score expires after that.

How do you suggest I should study? I am willing to do whatever it takes.

I'm in the same boat except with REG, which from what I've heard is almost as hard as FAR. I'm taking BEC on Monday and have REG scheduled for December 9th (which happens to be my birthday too… woohoo).

Are you at a national firm? I've only been working for a year, but last year my busy season really didn't pick up until late January (top 10 firm, not big 4). So my plan is (if I fail) to take it again right at the end of January before it really gets busy.

    BEC - TBD
    AUD - TBD
    REG - TBD
    FAR - 76 (10/19/2015)

I also work full-time but my usual study schedule is to try to get in atleast 3 hours a day in during the week and then usually just study all day on the weekends. I am kind of more interested in seeing if anyone has experience with just using NINJA mcqs and notes to pass FAR as their main material for studying? I have taken the other exams by using lectures and reading the book, but I don't think I would have enough time doing it that way.

I did FAR in 5 weeks and scored an 84. Its definitely possible if you put enough time/effort in.
3-4 hours a day should be enough to get you a passing score (maybe 3 on weekdays and 4-5 on weekends depending on your schedule). I used Becker and NINJA notes to pass. I love the NINJA notes because they are a condensed outline of the textbook and they cut your study time in half. I spent the first week or so rewriting the ninja notes, followed by a week and a half going through all the Becker MCQ and taking my own notes simultaneously. After that, I spent another week or so rewriting the NINJA notes again AND my own personal notes. Finally, I used whatever time left to review using the Becker progress tests. I would do sets of 20 of each module until I was trending 80% + on the progress tests. For the TBS, I spent 1 day during the week before my exam to review the different formats of questions and get a feel for the TBS.
I used the same method to pass AUD in 3 weeks, REG in 4 weeks, and I will be sitting for BEC next week 🙂
It's definitely possible. This is the study method that works for me, and maybe it can help you too!

Is it possible? Yes? Do you need to put in a ton of study hours? Depends. I work F/T, and my commute is 1.5 hrs each way.
I did pass with an 86 in 4 weeks time. I used Ninja mcq and audio.
I believe that I had a great grasp on the subjects before I started studying, so you should consider your comfort level with the material. I don't think that the amount of time you study matters, but your overall understanding on test day. For me, this showed on this exam, as I studied about 70 hrs total. However, I did not fair so well with AUD, which I used the same study methods, but had no prior experience with. Good luck!

Man after taking Audit and Reg I am struggling with FAR. No way I could pass in 4-5 weeks. I'm just intimidated by the material. Really taking my time with each chapter, but not more than 1 week.

5 weeks is plenty…just dont waste time on lectures or practicing SIMS.
