pass FAR in 3 weeks?

I graduated in May and started working at a Big 4 firm. I had applied for a window to take FAR, but did not anticipate being as busy right when I started as I have been. Here I am now, cramming to take the exam before my window expires and I am currently a week out. Whether I skip the window or take the exam and fail, I’m still out $200.

My last semester of college I went through Gliem FAR review (6 months ago) and on Nov 1st I started going through the Becker MC which I should be through all the sections by Sunday night, leaving me Monday-Friday to “review” (granted I am still working this week). I skipped all the lectures because I didn’t see how I would have time for those and the MC.

I know my situation is not ideal but any advice for my last week of review would be appreciated. In my accounting classes I never had to study much and made A’s on every exam so I would consider myself a good test taker, however I am lacking all confidence going in to this exam given my accelerated prep.

Honestly, if you are down the money already I would take

the exam. Yes, if you haven't put in the time to study you

will likely fail (FAR is the devil), but there is always a chance

and you could get lucky with your test! Until then

MCQ MCQ!! Can't stress it enough, they really do help

with the concepts. Also there are plenty of cram courses

(I used Roger Cram for FAR… And had only 4 weeks to study

    for FAR). Good luck!!!

    FAR - 82 (8/30/14)
    AUD - 95 (10/7/14)
    REG - 82 (11/7/14)
    BEC - 85 (11/26/14) - PEACE OUT!

I would highly recommend taking the time to understand Gov't and NFP as it will show up a lot on ur test! Also, allocate plenty of time for the sims (around 2 hours would be ideal).

    Best of luck!!

    AUD: 84
    FAR: 75
    BEC: 78
    REG: 75

    DONE-ZO!!!!!!!!

REG: Used Becker 2014 book, NINJA MCQ, Ninja notes, ninja audio

You have an advantage being a fresh graduate!

    1. Get Becker's Final Review Materials for $165 for FAR. You should be able to finish the entire software in less than 5 days.

    2. Take the final practice tests before your actual test.

    Good luck!
