Partnership accounting – FAR

    Is partnership accounting tested in FAR? CPAExcel does not cover this topic in their study materials. However, it is included in the Wiley Test Bank which I am using as a supplement. On a discussion board a CPAExcel rep claimed that partnership accounting is tested in REG and not in FAR….Is that true?

    It's tested in both. The tax treatment is different from the book treatment and so the book treatment is tested in FAR

    I've taken FAR once. Don't think I can say what was or wasn't on it, but I will say that cpaexcel prepared me well for the content WINK WINK
