Hey guys,

I was just wondering, if you were to get a JE question in the SIMs and you correctly filled in the journal entry accounts but got the actual numbers wrong- would you get half the credit?

FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
REG-12/6/12 PASSED

@Happy A – Here is the link on the AICPA's website where I downloaded the tutorial. It is to make sure that you know how to navigate between questions, know how to end a testlet and move to the next and let you see what a simulation might look. The tutorial will only work in IE.

How about if you enter something in the account name column from the drop down menu that should be blank? Becker does not allow you to make it blank again so the only option is to leave it there and leave the amount blank. Does anybody know how that is handled on the exam?

Do you mean if you're working on the sims and you choose an answer and then decide you want the space blank? You can make it blank again in most Becker sims. Is that what you're referring to?

Yes. it may be because I am working on an Apple computer, it doesn't seem to be Becker's favorite operating system. If I run into that problem again I will post something more specific. I am not too worried about it since I would think there is a way to make it blank again on the exam.

I've changed journal entries in Becker and also on the exam without too much trouble. If you need more help with this, let me know. (Trust me, I'm the master at changing answers, and I usually probably end up changing them to the wrong ones!) I've changed from one answer to another and from one answer to a blank answer.
