I have a 1 year old and I just cannot imagine what the parents of those missing students are going through. I am at a lost for words, heart broken and sad for the families. Definitely thinking about home schooling for my son.

Keeping all of the little babies and teachers and faculties in my prayers. =*(

I just can't imagine what the parents are going through. I can't imagine what the children that survived this ordeal are going to need in the days, months and years ahead of them with this permanently etched in their young, beautiful, trusting minds. The whole thing makes me physically ill. You just have to wonder “How” could anyone do this? Forget “Why” he did it. How?

I've been around guns/weapons my entire life. I've been through POST certification for the Sheriff's office. I've had a concealed weapons permit. I've been trained how to handle handguns, shotguns and rifles, and I'm still not sure I could shoot at another human being.

This is an absolute tragedy, especially close to Christmas. I have been saying extra prayers for my young adult children as they go to ball games, malls, movie houses, bowling alleys and etc. It seems that these crimes are commited by sick individuals looking for attention…NATIONAL ATTENTION. This is so sad. I agree there is no way to prepare for sickness and evil. But we that believe in God can and should pray and pray earnestly.
