I took REG last week and they provided me with a basic calculator instead of using the AICPA calculator that everyone loves. Anyone have the same thing happened to them?

Didn't happen to me. Honestly, I don't have a problem with the AICPA calculator. In fact, I think it's quicker to use than if I had to plug it in manually in a calculator and keep looking back and forth. Sure, it'd definitely be nice if the AICPA calculator had commas but I don't have a problem counting zeros in my head. It's not like the numbers get bigger than millions.

I've taken two sections and two different test centers.

Once gave me a calculator and the other didnt. I actually do prefer the AICPA calculator.

    REG - Passed!!
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed

    Study Materials: Becker basic course

If you want a calculator you can ask for one (at least at my test center). I asked for FAR and got one. Turns out I much preferred the integrated calculator (yay 10 key!). It wasn't offered to me, I just saw they had a drawer full and said “hey could I have one of those?!?”
