OK…On my way…any advice?

I got some goals and want to go all the way. I will start my last year as a student in September. I want to make a good impression during interview season and hope to go BIG FOUR. So I want to complete FAR and AUD over the summer and I want to compete for the Elijah Watt Sells Award.

I just scheduled my first two exams (FAR, AUD) and I will be using BECKER + flash cards, my materials arrive next week. I can schedule about 15 to 20 hours a week. Should I combine BECKER with another study material or is BECKER enough to crush all the CPA Exams? If I do combine…um how? Anyone else in the same boat? Has anyone else completed all four parts before graduation? Also any advice would really be appreciated

Undergrad or grad school? I thought I had read that you can sit for the exam before graduation, but that you will not receive your scores until after you graduate?

Becker is great. It should be all you need but a lot of us supplemented with Wiley online test bank. Just the extra multiple choice questions and SIMS help. Plus I used Wiley a lot on the go when I couldnt be at my computer.

I will be in Grad school. I was thinking of supplementing the WILEY test bank. I thought I also heard somewhere that WILEY sometime has more detail. Thanks and any other advice from you or others is welcome!

advice? pass all 4 parts before getting a job… treat studying for this as your job. i.e. study for 6 or so hours a day everyday and you will pass way quicker.

    FAR - 75 (Expires April 30, 2012)
    BEC - 74,74,69,83
    AUD - 72,65,70, 4/20 Last Score???
    REG - 69,84

@Minimorty… I also emailed my Examination Coordinator to find out about when my score would be released…Thanks for that! That would mean I would have to wait a year for my scores, I will post when I find out.

@onmyway – It is probably only an issue if you don't have your undergrad degree or don't qualify to sit without the degree being posted. If you qualify without the grad degree, you should get your scores the same time as everyone else.

Well I kinda don't have a degree…I'm in a combined BS/MBA program, so technically I won't have my BS or MBA until May 2013. A few months ago I sent emails back and forth to my coordinator just to make sure I could really sit…um never thought to ask will I be able to see my scores. So it is worth asking. FYI I qualify to sit since I have over 120 credit so probably have nothing to worry about.

Interesting. I'd be surprised if you are allowed to see your scores. Let us know if you find out from your coordinator.

I wonder what would be the point of letting me sit…and then give me no indication how I did? How would I know if my 18 month window has started? Also wouldn't the coordinator think this may be something they should mention?

Yes and yes. In most instances candidates sit only a couple months before graduation. I've never seen anyone sit as early before graduation as you. I know most (maybe all?) of the candidates who sit before graduation have to wait for their scores.
