I feel pretty clueless about both topics going into the test tomorrow… How concerned should I be?

Considering it is supposed to make up 20 percent of the exam, I would be pretty concerned. The topics are most likely to be tested in the MCQs so it might feel like more than 20 percent. I am expecting 10-15 MCQ on NFP and GOV. I would at least go over the new ASC 2016-14 changes to NFP and learn the different types of funds for government and what each fund does. I am actually banking on these two topics getting me some easy points. Good luck to you tomorrow! Check back in and let us know how the exam went.

I agree with Troys22. NFP and GOV are substantial topics, but at this point you are past the point of no return.

In the future if you find you are really lost on a major subject, try to cancel or reschedule within 6 days and you'll pay a small fee to retake it later.

Just go in there tomorrow and give it your best shot and try not to worry about it because you know what you know.

Stressing out will only make it worse.

Try to stay calm and if you come across an MCQ you don't know, make your best educated guess and move on to the next question as quickly as you can. Don't waste time on a question that you have little chance of answering correctly. You need all the time you can spare for the TBS'.

Just stepped out of the exam. Overall, not too bad. My wording of “pretty clueless” was probably a bit exaggerated. I knew the basic functionings of the accounts, but not nearly as in-depth as I did the other topics.

The 2nd MCQ testlet definitely was a bit more tricky than the 1st testlet (lots of information and distractors), so I guess that is a good sign.

I couldn’t really tell which TBS was pre-tested. There were two that I felt were difficult, but nothing out of the ordinary. Kind of kicking myself about it because the information was on the tip of my tongue.

Definitely felt more confident coming out of this one than I did REG. Hoping for the best considering I got a 81 on REG.
