@AnitaNC @Sheree @DatFutureCPA @rsoxtim Thank You. I started creating my own flashcards with important information. As I go though questions, I write down the info that I think is important from the topics/book as well as the details I pick up from questions. I also put small examples from the book onto flash cards for instance Bond and Lease Amortization (first 2 lines). The flash cards will be give me recap of topics covered and also a review of my weak areas.
5 weeks or so until I sit, but like a lot of folks here, already getting burnt out. Not to mention I feel like I know absolutely nothing. Trying to stay positive and trekking forward, despite my frustration.
All that said, good luck tomorrow to all of those that are taking FAR!!! Time to seal the deal!!!
@rsoxtim Ditto on the appendix at the end of F4. Too long, not looking at it, and crossing my fingers. I figure that all I'd get on that information would be 1-2 MCQ tops, but more likely NOTHING, and my time could be better spent PERFECTING information I KNOW will be on the exam like NFP/Govt/SCF than trying to learn something completely new that will gain me a point at most! At least that's how I'm rationalizing it to myself…
It will be my turn on Oct 25th. I only master the cash flows, EPS &Diluted, Deferred taxes, Investments. I can work on bonds but I am not very confident, but I have no doubt I can solve it. Other areas like Accounting change, IFRS, inventories, monetary and non monetary is somewhat fair. I did a Test on Wileytest bank and turned out to be 89%. I am still worried. I am reviewing my Governmental and NFP currently. Any last minute suggestion of topics I need to concentrate before the exam day?
DatFutureCPA – I know, the month waiting thing is gonna kill me.
I'm sure I'll be devastated when I leave the testing center Saturday afternoon.. My co-workers already want to go out that night to “celebrate” – so I guess if I'm upset I won't be for long.
Man, these SIMS sound absolutely brutal from everyone posting. Hopefully, you did better than you think. The waiting is definitely going to suck for me too. Take a few weeks to relax!
