    Heres a link that has Free MCQ on all 4 parts. FAR has like 600+ MCQ for free, you can take 20 mcq exams.

    I've pretty much memorized most of Beckers answers by now so these are useful to see some new stuff.

    I'm considering not studying for the remainder of my time until the test. I am just starting to feel overwhelmed and frustrated.

    I'm at 170 hours total and I feel like I have a huge list of stuff I still need to review. Thinking maybe I should relax for the next couple of days and give it my best shot on Tuesday.

    Thoughts?

    I usually take it easy the last 2 days. I only do final exam 1, and final exam 2, and just review them.. after that, I call it a day.

    REG: PASS || BEC: PASS || AUD: PASS || F: SCORE PENDING..

    I'm pretty much at that point too. Just doing some light reviewing but not much.

    Hi everyone I am also taking FAR in this window – end of November.

    @DatFutureCPA I read in one of your post that you took notes for FAR 5 Leases and Bonds. Do you take notes for all sections. Do you find them more helpful instead of just re-reading the highlighted material in Becker? Aren't these time consuming? Good luck on upcoming exam!

    Does anyone else take notes on Becker material instead just doing Qs and reading. I take notes only on Qs I did not understand or if I learn something new from the Questions but don't create separate notes of what already in the book.

    I am just thinking maybe I should also take notes on topics that I find difficult. I just don't know if it's worth the time which instead could be used for redoing the question. I would like your input.

    @Kristo123: I am not DatFutureCPA and I am not using Becker neither but I know some people here would swear rewriting the the notes helps them to remember the informations better that just highlighting and memorizing them. I am not a testament on that one yet because my exam is yet to come, and I am struggling myself with a lot of information I think needed to be memorize. BUt I am doing it the NINJA way of rewriting the notes, hopefully it would paid of on the 25th.

    I'm using Becker and in the 3rd week of my online class I started taking written notes on each section. It is time consuming but I found I did MUCH better on the multiple choice questions and go through them much quicker. I also write down the explanations from any question that I get wrong (and even some I get right, if I think the info is useful). I don't know if I will rewrite all my notes before I sit for FAR on 11/20, but I'm definitely going to keep writing down information I don't know as I go along.

    @kristo123 Taking notes after the lecture just forces me to re-read the material and put it down again in notes.

    I'm actually handwriting notes the second time around on sections I am weak on.

    I didn't take notes as I went through all the Becker chapters as I didn't have the time. Instead, I made my own flashcards and I've been studying them since. Now that I'm doing my review, I've been taking notes of my weak areas and studying those along with my FCs and doing MCQs.

    Besides NFP, I'm feeling pretty good besides just brushing up on my weaker areas.

    @DatFutureCPA

    I am working on F5 – Leases and Bonds. I did the same thing, took very detailed notes. I seemed to me that I understand until I start doing the questions. For some reason I am not scoring high on these topics. How do you move quickly through the given information? I get confused with issued dates and selling dates. Any tips or things that helped you understand better and keep things straight? Thx.

    @CPA @GRACE Hmm..

    Well for Leases I found the questions are wordy and filled with unnecessary crap. Pick the lower rate percentage. They always give you 2 choices on rates then seem to list out all the different annuity due/ordinary annuity/value of $1 rates. The lease questions are sometimes so long but you actually only need probably 1/3rd of the info in there. Find the proper annuity or $1 value, multiply it by the figure and you're good to go.

    Bonds just make sure you keep the dates correct because that is really the trickiest part I feel. They try to trick you too on Interest Expense – always use the date the bond was issued.

    The interest payable calculation uses the monthly calculations.

    24 hours until exam time.

    I spent about 6 hours today drilling my weak areas (NFP/Gov and consolidations) into my head. Just went 75/80 on NFP mcq..

    I can honestly say I feel pretty prepared for this thing. I hope I dont get blind sided tomorrow..
