I am taking FAR tomorrow at 1:30 and I am just wondering what works best for people the night before the exam. Do you still work MCQs until you can’t stand it anymore or do you reread your notes? Or do you do nothing at all? Just curious!

Just like @Hustlin I have only taken one exam and I haven't gotten my score yet but I had studied the whole day before the exam by reviewing my notes and doing small testlets. I had a fabulous dinner out and made sure to go to bed nice and early. The morning of the exam I ate a good breakfast and looked over my notes again. I made sure I left early for the testing center so I didn't hit traffic. It worked out because they actually let me start my test earlier than scheduled which was nice.

    Good Luck tomorrow!!!

I think the most important thing the night before an exam is rest (I aim for 8 hours of sleep). You need to give your brain some rest so it will be at optimal performance during the exam. I know sometimes it is hard to sleep the night before an exam, but you must try. In the morning, I will review my ninja notes one time and head in to Prometric.

I have FAR on the 30th and actually signed up for a morning 5k the day before. I'm hoping it'll help easy my mind before the test. I'll probably do some light review the night before though.

@CPAlmost – enjoy that 5k! Hopefully it will be refreshing.

For the night/ day before, if I was able to study during the day, I'd just try to relax the night before and get a good night's sleep. Regardless, like a previous post said, it's a day, merely hours before your test, so it's really a matter of knowing the material or not.

Chances are you've put in the time and effort to study. It seems the general consensus is that no one feels overly confident walking into the exam. I don't think it's an absolute value of if you study 1,000 hours you will pass (even though highly likely). I think it's more about understanding the concepts, terminoligy, reasoning, etc. behind the questions.

Whatever makes you feel comfortable the night before, do just that. You've studied based on what works for you. Only you know yourself better than anoyone else. Good luck!
