    Hi Everyone,

I started reviewing for FAR today using Becker. This is my first section and wanted to get some input on this. In my opinion, the lectures are very fast paced and I am having a hard time keeping up with taking notes while watching the lecture. Did anyone else have this problem, if so how did you overcome it? What was your strategy? Should I follow the program as they recomend?

Any additional advice would be very helpful. I am kind of lost and do not want to jump into this heading in the wrong direction.

    Nick

One option is go through the lecture, highlighting imp. parts. This will give a general idea. After that, read the chapter. At that time you can write your notes and make flashcards. Be precise and to the point…something that you can remember. Then do the multiple choice and make notes/flashcards of the questions/facts you miss. This will help you remember next time. Keep doing this for all the chapters and then do the final review. In between, keep going through all the notes you have made till that point to keep it fresh. These are 10 long chapters. You don't want to forget ch 1 by the time you reach ch 10. Blech….

I am sitting for FAR by Aug end. When have you planned for it?

Thanks for the response. I applied for my NTS, but haven't heard back yet. I would like to sit towards the end of October or beginning of November. Good luck on your exam!!
