    Hello everyone,

I have been on this site for the past two weeks viewing many topics. After reading all the reviews I have decided to go with the Becker Self Study course.I applied for the CPA Exam about 2 weeks ago, and currently I am taking a few classes in order to finish the 150 hours.

-I want to finish the CPA exam by Jan-Feb so that I can hopefully get a job during the tax season.

-Currently I am only working during the weekends, and taking classes from 8-4 on two of the weekdays

I need some Advice on how I can structure my tests so that I can finish them all by Jan-Feb.

It's doable. I did it during the same time frame of three windows. If I could go back in time I would do it like this…

    July/Aug. Bec and audit

    Oct/Nov. REG or FAR

    Jan/Feb. REG or FAR

Schedule exams toward end of each window.

Reserve the beginning for retakes study for retake during the black out month. Good luck!

I passed everything in 6 months. Here is what I did. I developed a study plan and stuck to it no matter what. I listened to a Becker lecture on Monday and did those mcq's on Tuesday. I did the same thing for the next lecture on Wednesday/Thursday. Friday was often time for R&R, especially for the time I was working 9-5. Saturday and Sunday each devoted to one of those chapters until completion. Any time left after going through all the lectures and my exam time was devoted to going through each chapter until I was as close to 100% complete with the mcq's as possible. The #1 rule of this plan is to stick with the plan. Don't fall behind, don't make excuses, don't deviate from the plan. Spend pretty much every waking hour studying and you can do it too.

I passed AUD and FAR last window and am planning to take REG and BEC in July/August. It's not easy. I have no life other than work and this exam. Make a plan and stick to it. No matter what. If I know I have something coming up that might take away from studying one day, I go ahead and make up the hours earlier that week just in case. If I have an off day, I just have to push through it and force myself to study. It's tough but so far it has been doable. It depends on your life situation (this would be a LOT harder if I were married/had kids) and how you study. I feel like I have gotten lucky so far and I just hope the luck holds out.

    AUD 4/12/12 79
    FAR 5/29/12 76
    REG 8/2/12 82
    BEC 8/30/12 72 Retake 10/18/12 76!!! DONE!!!!

I passed Aud April 19th, and the BEC May 31st. Plan on passing FAR mid August and REG Oct 1. So I guess thats 7 months haha. I am not working right now so I have all day to study and read and do MCQs. If you are working you better be really really good at time management. I used BECKER self study. Cheers and good luck.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

    Audit 4/19/12 - 77
    BEC 5/31/12 - 75
    FAR 8/30/12
