Needing Help from Those Who Failed FAR Then Passed…

Guys, I’m needing help getting my (new) study plan together to retake FAR in October. As you can see I scored a 69. I used Yaeger the first round, but there is absolutely no way I can sit through all of those videos again. My downfall was the SIMs and Governmental accounting. I plan to do every question in the Wiley book and Wiley Test bank (taking notes on any question I have trouble with), along with Ninja notes and audio. I still have my Yaeger notes, so I plan to use those as well. I will also read the Governmental accounting chapter in the book. Has anyone used a similar technique and passed without watching the lectures again? Thoughts please?

I also failed FAR and just retook (and passed!)

Definitely brush up on areas in which you feel week, but don't get caught up on them. The first time I sat, there was a lot of coverage on topic A, so I studied up on that for my retest. On the retest there was very little coverage of A and a lot of questions on B, which I also hadn't really been keeping up with. So try and keep a comprehensive understanding of all topics.

Obviously try and hammer out as many MCQs as possible. Try looking up free questions online if you start memorizing the ones in your software. I also think the BLITZ videos and ninja notes helped me, and I plan on using them for BEC and REG as well. Definitely don't take a ton of time though, I would schedule your next test for as EARLY in the next window as you can get.

    AUD: 82
    FAR: 78
    BEC: 75
    REG: 8/1 score release!!
