I HATE FAR. It’s absolutely awful & it doesn’t seem to be getting better. I finally got a grasp on bonds, then I have to spend three days understanding leases. Then I finally get a grasp on leases and now it’s Stockholders Equity. Is there one easy chapter in this entire damn test?! I have made study plan after study plan & they all get thrown out because I end up spending extra time on these sections! I’ve already moved my test back to the end of May so now I’ll have to retake Audit in July and learn the clarity standards and hopefully pass so that I don’t lose BEC. And FAR just happens to be in the same month that we’re moving and I am leaving tomorrow for Europe for a week for work & then a week before the test I have to travel again for 5 days for work. I just needed to vent because I’m losing motivation quickly for this section

am in the same boat here

and what make it worse that when i come back to a section that i studied

and discover that it was erased from my memory

how the hell somebody can finish all that in 8 weeks 🙁

but there is no way back ,we will do our best and hope that is enough to pass

@AnasAG Yep- I just circled back to one of the first sections and got a 50% on a 10 question pop quiz. It's like I never even looked at the stuff! I plan on using at least half of my 14 hour travel time tomorrow to do tons of MCQs. 🙁

oh,at least you use roger

you used Becker and you know the difference

they enforce me to use youtube and any other sources to understand the material

i just finished bonds and leases and they take a lot of time more than any other sections

review the material by doing a progress test after each chapter

@MustPass – you do sound like you've got a lot on your plate right now. You've got the right idea to utilize your travel time but try not to burn out, too.

A colleague and I are in the same boat and are scheduled to take FAR end of May as well. We were also talking about this – forgetting older chapters as we move along. My plan is to review my flashcard-notes on earlier chapters whenever I can, in between regular study sessions, to try to keep them fresh in my mind. I also try to sneak in some previous-chapter-MCQs during work whenever I can (hard to focus though).
