I was getting pretty fired up about FAR. I was feeling like I was going to destroy it. This is my final showdown. I want to get medieval and pull a 99.

I am going to admit – I am getting discouraged. When I read the material, and re-write my notes, I feel like I get it. Then a couple days later, it seems like I can’t retain that information.

I’m starting to feel like I can’t do it. What do you guys tell yourselves when you get into a rut? I can’t help but think of what is going to happen if I don’t pass. I’ll have to take it AGAIN in July and then I’ll possibly lose REG. Part of me wants to reschedule for the very end of May (postpone it a week). But part of me just wants it DONE. I have 3 more weekends. I need someone to smack me around cyber-style.

You have plenty of time until 21. I keep telling myself that I will make FAR part of my blood by the time my test comes! You really have to review old topics everyday or every other day to retain it. But you can do it! You also have to really reinforce the notes you're taking with MCQs in between.

Quit whining about what you “think” you don't know! The truth is you probably know this stuff better than you realize. Just keep working at it. It's not easy. None of this is easy. Just get up, put on your big girl panties and get it done! If you get a 74, then tell yourself I'm going to pass this (insert all of the known dirty words here) test if it is the last (make up new dirty words and insert them here) thing I do in this world.

Okay. She's back in her box. The truth is we all get discouraged and feel like the whole world is smarter than us from time to time. You just have to keep plugging away until you get comfortable with it. Good Luck and keep your chin up!

Thanks guys. And Kricket, I appreciate it. Your words did make me laugh, but you are so right. Being a whiny b$&*$ isn't going to help me one bit. And my husband made a good point – this test is like a dog – it smells fear! It's so true!

By the way – you took REG & FAR on the SAME DAY?!?!?! You are a glutton for punishment!!! But I truly hope you are DONE. Good luck to you. I will be thinking of you…..
