I am using becker CD. I was doing some research questions and came across this issue couple of times. For instance, chapter cash flow, I was trying to research what would be the treatement of cash flow per share in financial reports. I could get the answer. The answer I got was E11-Par 131. But the becker cd has different answer..FAS 128, paragraph 36. They both have the same thing line by line. Can anyone tell me the difference? Or does that mean the same thing and I can select any one of them. Thanks

@cpaguru – I'm not sure what you mean by E11. I believe you should pick the highest one of that house of hierarchy of accounting standards and therefore FAS's would be one of the highest levels. I believe the house is in ch 1 of Beckers FAR book.
