I need some advice!!

I just found out that i made another 73 on FAR. This is my last section of the exam to pass. I have been using Becker Self-Study, and for my 2nd attempt I also used Becker Final Review. I also wrote out Jeff’s Ninja Notes, and wrote out 3 notebooks full of notes. Does anyone have any suggestions for changing my study tools/habits?? Also, I don’t know when I should start studying for the exam. I wish I could have these next 2 weeks to celebrate the holidays, but then again busy season is right around the corner and I work full time.

Feeling down about my score, and I need a plan. Thanks guys

Wow, that is tough. I know how you feel. I got a 73 and then a 74 before I finally passed FAR and it was my last exam. For me, I really tried to build off of what I learned from my previous studies and also, since you have now sat through 14 SIMS questions, you can concentrate your studies more in those specific areas or topics.

You are so close. I would give yourself a little time to relax, while periodically studying and then ramp up for 3 weeks and sit again. Good luck. Again, I am sorry for you. I know how it feels, but you are so close, trust me.

BEC- 76 (08/10)- PASS
AUD- 85 (11/10)- PASS
REG- 71 (02/11), 81 (04/11)- PASS
FAR- 73 (05/11), 74 (08/11), 79 (11/11)- PASS

I am with you. I found a thread before with Yaeger cram; somebody could pass 3 sections in one window while working.

Of course 2 new sections and 1 FAR repeat section. But that buddy studied FAR about 3 weeks and ALL 18 hr lecture crams and do MCQs, and passed it with high 80s. Of course the cram is not recommended without basic full FAR review. But you had the basic and really close. This is a long section, CRAM it for 3 weeks, we'll SURELY pass it.

Sorry, but you are so, so close! Yaeger Cram – Phil and Cindy have a gift for making the concepts easy to understand. Plus they focus on the most important topics and are thorough without it being too overwhelming.

BTW – I'm taking audit next which was the hardest area of accounting for me to understand in college. Do you mind sharing how you bumped your score up? Thanks 🙂

Thanks ya'll, I really appreciate the support and suggestions!

@apbanj- I used the Becker FInal Review the 2nd time around and I thought it really helped… also just going through all of the material again for a 2nd time seemed to make a lot of the information stick. I also used Jeff's Ninja notes the 2nd time and hand wrote them out. Hope that helps!
