Third time taking Far. Firt time got a 69. Did not study as I should have. Second time around, I thought I got a 80-90 score, come to find out I got a 73. Switched from Becker to Yaegger this time around. Did all of the elctures and questions required and in addition did Becker questions, and all Becker simulations. I definately did not know nearly as much as I know now, btu there are still a couple of areas that are not crystal clear (installment sales, Inter company transactions).. I think at this point I should not worry about given there is nothing I can do but I hope the 300 plus hours of studying will pay off. Would really appreciate some comfort from all of you. Thank you in advance.

Oh the Beast!!! FAR is definitely the most mentally exhausting exam of them all. You don't need to go into panic mode at this point, that's not going to help your mental state right before the exam! I would suggest that you stop cramming and give yourself some downtime. You need to give your brain some time to relax before you try to attack the exam tomorrow (which you are going to do like a badass ninja!!!!!)

From my experience with FAR, I noticed that I was always under a time crunch. Make sure that you keep an eye on the clock and don't start spinning on questions. There are just some questions that you will NEVER know the answer to, so if you can narrow it down to 2, just flip a coin and move on. Your time is better spent on the questions that you can actually find an answer to.

If you start to panic or have test anxiety when you're at Prometrics, STOP. Put down your pencil, close your eyes, take a deep breath and recompose yourself. There's no way you're going to get the next question right if you're in a state of anxiety. Try not to let your nerves get the best of you!

You know the material and you have put in the hours. You are going to get this! Tomorrow you will Slay the Beast! Good luck, stay positive, and don't freak out!!!!!

Duck tales, I am in NJ and if you are in the area I will be a round of drinks on me. I read this last night and it was a HUGE motivation booster. THank you so much and looking forward in hearing from you. Thanks

So does that mean it went well? I'm glad that my post helped you! I used to get really bad test anxiety so I thought you might benefit from some of the tricks I've picked up along the way. I've learned the hard way that pulling all-nighters, being hopped up on caffeine, and trying to cram right before a test can lead to disasturous results.

Thanks for the offer to buy a round! Unfortunately I'm in California so grabbing a drink doesn't look like it will pan out. If you're ever out here though, look me up! I think we're all going to need a few cold ones after this process :-).

How many tests do you have left? Good luck with the rest of it!

You are spot on… Duck Tales, awoohoo! (I'm hoping this will be my reaction after seeing my grades this window!)

Here's the story… I'm a very proud University of Oregon graduate!!! Our mascot is the Ducks so our marching band has a tendancy to play the Duck Tales theme song at sporting events. For some reason I had the song stuck in my head when I was trying to pick out a name, and I didn't think twice about using it!

Sorry but now I have to do this… Go Ducks! Hopefully no OSU Beavers or UW Huskies come across this thread 🙂
