FAR exam is on Monday and I just realized that my short term memory is shot. I have been studying nonstop for last three weeks. I was trying to remember “sir age” (Becker) for pensions and I was coming up with “old man”. LOL

Have you guys experienced similar problem?

Ha ha! You are not alone, my friend. I have so many mnemonics but am having a hard time remembering which one goes with which topic.

I find that if I don't make a connection between the mnemonic and the topic, it doesn't stick. An example of the pension expense mnemonic that Roger uses in his class is A-SPIDER. Couldn't remember it until I said pension expense is a topic that is as ugly as a spider to figure out. Now I have it stuck in my head, probably for eternity. There's too many to remember in your short term memory. You have to figure out a way to get it stuck in long term. I was having so many problems with it until I realized how the ones from grammar school were still in my head.

I just want this to be over! 2 more days. FAR is EZ for me overall. I just don't like NFP.
