Tomorrow, well… Today, Monday, June 11, 2012 is the start to my Becker CPA Review FastPass Online Class. It is not really a class as the instructor is completely hands-off… he doesn’t even lecture. I have had all of my lectures, videos, books, flashcards, and the PassMaster(c) software since last December. Luckily, the firm that I am going to work for paid for these supplies. I also just purchased the NINJA notes from Another71.com this evening.

My plan of attack for FAR, which I begin today, began back in December. During my final semester I was able to view all of the lectures for FAR, AUD and one half of REG. I took all of the suggested notes and highlighted my books. So I guess I am a little ahead of the game… some of the material seems very repetitive at this point.

I began blogging about my FAR prep experience… Hopefully this will be a good way to stay on track and review my progress as well as sharing my story with fellow bloggers, family, friends, and previous professors. You can check out my blog at mycpastory.blog.com

Anyways… my plan of attack for FAR –

Early morning: Skim through chapter and gain an understanding of what is to come, view the lecture while taking my own notes, re-read the chapter and take additional notes.

Late-morning/Early afternoon: Read the NINJA notes which correspond with the current chapter. Begin MCQs and Simulations.

Early evening: Complete MCQs and Simulations, re-read the chapter, review my notes and the NINJA notes. Review Becker flash cards for 1 hour.

Later evening: Print off next chapter outline, match up NINJA notes with the next chapter’s materials, read through outline and skim chapter and NINJA notes. Possibly begin to take notes on next chapter.

By the end of 2 weeks I will have completed all sections of FAR… still working on my plan of attack for my review week and weekend studying. Any suggestions are welcomed!
