My answers in this FAR Sim were all correct, but I still got marked wrong

I have a question about formatting my answers in the Sims. My answers were all right but I was still marked wrong because they were in the wrong order apparently. It was FAR sim #21. The questions usually say to put the answers in ascending order but this one didn’t say anything specifically about the order. I notice that the correct answers here are in ascending order but the question didn’t say anything. I have two questions: 1 – Is there a generally accepted order that I’m not aware of for Sims in general or for this one in particular, and 2 – will a human grade my exam and give me credit even though the computer is scoring me wrong here? Thanks

I assume that you are using Becker? If so, yes, they mark them as wrong. Kind of a flaw in the system IMO. The real test is more sophisticated and would not mark it wrong just because it is in the wrong order.

    FAR 7/8/14 - 88 - Becker live course
REG 10/14/14 - 82 - Becker live course, Ninja notes and audio
BEC 11/25/14 - 88 - Becker live course, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
AUD 2/3/15 - 94 - Becker self study, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions

A number of people have asked this question before and the most common response I have seen is that order of the debits/credits does not matter. One individual (although I can't recall the thread) went as far as to e-mail AICPA for a response.

I doubt a human ever looks at them, but they obviously have much more sophisticated scoring algorithms that take it into consideration. If you are getting the answers correct, I would not worry about anything.

I'm using Ninja review and test bank which is where the above question comes from. Thanks for the reassurance – I've been hanging around here for a while now and I haven't seen this come up before.
