So, it pains me when I get my score report in the mail showing that I only made a 75 in one section of the exam, planning, and all other sections made 89, 81, 78, 78. Of course the passing candidates made no less than 80 on any given section, so my scores averaged out to a 74! Kills me! Oh well! I will kick this AUD exam’s butt in January! Just sayin’.

Wow that really sucks. Are the scores for each section actual percentages? I always thought the scores would be curved upward for the final score.

Hi. Maybe Jeff can answer this question for me. Last year, I passed FAR, REG, and BEC. I found out that I failed AUD with a 74 in December. Many of my co-workers are suggesting that I ask for a re-grade since I was only one point away, and I passed all of the other 3 on the first go. The main reason I want to ask for a re-grade is because I know AUD is totally changing for 2011. What do you think Jeff? My score report is:

Multiple Choice (70%)- weaker

Simulations (20%)- stronger

Written Communication (10%) – comparable

On the previous 3 exams, I have always scored stronger on the written comm. This is the first test that I didn't. Any advice would be great. Has anyone's score ever changed because of the process, even by one point?

My other score reports said that I scored stronger on the WC.

It's not worth asking for a regrade b/c it costs just as much and the chance of them changing your score is close to 0%. I made a 74 on REG last year and of course just made a 74 on AUD this time. My score report showed I was stronger in most areas on MC and then weaker on WC and comparable on sims and of course I made the 74.
