I was thinking this morning about how much we, as CPA candidates, miss out on because of these stinking tests!!

The Texans are my #2 team for football and they made it to playoffs for the first time which is super exciting! I am really upset though because I don’t get to watch the game because I have to study 🙁 I have my FAR test 1/14 and have a lot left to do and learn and can’t afford the time off. I have caught myself blaming this test even though the real truth is that I got behind schedule so it is my own fault.

Another thing I miss doing it going to Sunday brunch and happy hours and taking my precious pup to the dog park.

What are the small things that yall miss?

I'm in pretty much the exact same boat-i grew up here, went to pitt (my parents also went to pitt, too), and work here too. its not a bad place to live at all. hopefully i pass BEC next week, then get through busy season, and by the end of may i will be ready to relax, watch some buccos, and go catch up on everything else i missed out on for the past year or so.

Also Pittsburgh through and through. However I had to get out of the terrible weather and go to South Carolina for school (Go Gamecocks). Love this city though as I came back to work here and yes the Pirates season last year was fun for a moment haha.

Piranha, it sounds like you were in a maximum security prison for the past year hahaha: ‘go catch up on everything else i missed out on for the past year or so.'
