If you’re not really sure of what the correct answer is what advice/strategy do you have in picking a MCQ answer?

Try to rule some out somehow. I like the GMAT strategy of trying to identify “an evil pair” which is two answers that seem to reach the same conclusion, thereby making both of them wrong and excludable. I've heard choice “B” is statistically the correct more than the others (not sure about the truth in this).

Basically, try to identify as many wrong answers as you can, to increase your odds of a best guess.
