I just started studying for the CPA exam. Still trying to figure out what to do.

I have Yaeger CPA. I watched the videos of the first part of FAR and took notes.

Then I did MC but I didn’t think it had anything to do with the video I watched.

So, I have a question for the students that have already taken the test:

If I did all the MC will I see the same questions on the CPA exam?

or the exam is a mix of the MC sample questions and questions that come from lectures?

Basically, if I did all the questions I would not have any new questions in the test?

Or the questions and answers change?

    Thanks

You will NOT see the same questions on the CPA exam.

The exam is made up of all new questions.

It's important to use your practice questions to learn the concepts and the rules.

Understand WHY certain answers are right or wrong.

Then, you'll be able to apply that knowledge in various ways to new questions.

For me, repetition is the key.

Go through all the MCQ's once, then go back to the beginning and go through again, then again.

By that time, you'll be aware of your weakest topics and you can focus on those before the exam.

    Good luck!

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15
    Praise Jesus! I'm done!!
