I have a question regarding getting licensed. I have passed the exams and have 147 total credit hours. After this semester I will have fulfilled 150 required. AICPA requires 36 upper-level accounting credit hours. I currently hold 33. Does AICPA have a minimum grade requirement in accounting class to be considered part of those 36 credit hours? My school requires us to get a C or better in all accounting classes to be considered for degree but I have met the degree requirements long ago. Does AICPA have any such requirement or would a “D” suffice?

Call your state board so you know for sure what your state's rules are.

I don't think you register with AICPA.

cpham4 is correct. The AICPA only administers the exam. Each state has their own licensure requirements. Call your state board.
