Hi all,
I am scheduled to take my first FAR exam on August 31st. Originally, I knew I would be short on time (only 6 weeks total and I work full time), but figured it’s the end of the quarter, what the hell. I can always retake it in October. I’m only averaging in the 60s on my progress tests, and that’s being somewhat familiar with the Becker questions. Ideally, I would like to read the book again, do a couple more rounds of MCs and SIMS, but time does not allow for that.
Question is, should I just give it a go, knowing the odds are against me? I don’t care too much about the $250, it’s more the blow of confidence after hours of studying. I do feel that a fail gives you a feel for the test and a better idea of what you need for the next time to pass too. What would everyone do in my situation? Has anyone averaged in the 60s and passed?
BEC - 80
AUD - 85
FAR - 76
REG - 75
