    Guys,

    I need 17 credit hours in order to fulfill the CPA license requirement. My company only reimburses me if I go for degree programs. Since I am not going for one, I have to pay it from my pocket. I have spent enough preparing and sitting for the CPA exam. Do not want to spend more. Please suggest online classes that are cheap and count towards the CPA education requirement. I am aware of distance learning classes at LSU. I am looking for some other options. I could have joined one of the state college for masters and take classes there until I have 17 credit hours. That would be cheap for me since I could have submitted it for reimbursement from work. But the problem is I have to go for the GMAT and stuff. Basically, I just need 6 classes and I want to take it online…Pay for it myself…SO am looking for the less expensive online classes…Thanks

    What about Penn Foster College? $100/credit.

    I used Santa Monica College for a couple of online classes. Pretty inexpensive and there were a reasonable amount of classes to choose from.

    @bobkorz

    If I take online class from Penn Foster College, will that count towards CPA license requirement.

    Per the board, All educational credits must be completed at a nationally or regionally accredited college or university.

    From Penn's website

    Penn Foster College has met the high standards of integrity and performance set by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) in Washington, D.C. The DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

    So, I should be fine if I take the inline classes from them right.

    Also, I have the accounting credits and the other requirements. So, does that mean I can take any classes that I have not already taken. I mean any level classes…Thanks
