Hi all,

When the question asks for the “Lease Obligation” amount at year end, shout the accrued interest payment be included as part of the Lease Obligation amount for purposes of answering such question?

Can you be more specific? If the question is asking for the total obligation, then yes, I would agree that you include accrued interest. But if it is asking for Present Value of Net Minimum Lease Payments, then interest is excluded.

Maybe I am confusing it with something else, but isn't a lease obligation amortized over the life of the lease?
